FFU was founded by a retired career Deputy Fire Chief of the Newark NJ Fire Department, after relocating to Myrtle Beach SC.  Prior to coming to paradise, he was a member of the Carpenter's Local #15 and #1006 in NJ.  After being hired as a F/F in 1993, he started a successful contracting company providing high quality home renovations both interior and exterior specializing in custom interior trim.
